Mallorie Sievert

Hi there!
About me :)
Mallorie Sievert (she/her) is a recent graduate of Elon University where she received her BFA in Music Theatre, and she was also a 2020 National YoungArts Finalist as well as a 2020 US Presidential Scholar in the Arts! She hails from the global mecca of Jacksonville, Florida, and she identifies as "Latinasian" (Cuban, Chinese, and Filipino!). When not on the stage, she can be found rewatching Star Wars, taking pictures of her dog, or basking in the sun like a lizard while reading a good book. She is based in New York City, and Mallorie is proudly represented by DGRW Inc. !!

Mallorie is a passionate, versatile, and vibrant artist who approaches everything she does with a strong sense of play, wit and intelligence, and a fierce commitment to honest storytelling.

In addition to being an accomplished actor, singer, and dancer, Mallorie is a writer and an academic: at Elon University, she nurtured her childhood love for STEM by minoring in Mathematics, and was a member of the Honors Fellows Program. Through Honors, she was able to pursue an undergraduate research project that has combined her passion for academia with her passion for theatre and storytelling; she has written a full length play about queerness and religion entitled The City-Women that she is in the process of trying to produce. For more information on her play, check out the Playwriting/Research tab! Her senior thesis will not be the end of Mallorie's writing career: she hopes to one day be an established playwright as well as an actor.

The true multidisciplinary artist that she is, Mallorie is an actor-musician, pianist, and music director: most recently, she music directed the NYC workshop of a new musical written by Chris Rayis and Douglas Waterbury-Tieman, Deep Water Ballad, featuring Talia Suskauer, Sarah Jane Shanks, Ben Laxton, Elizabeth Ward Land, Julio Rey, Maggie McDowell, and others. She's excited to stay on this project and see where the future takes them!!

That's the Sparknotes version, but browse around! Stay a while :)
